Everyday Eddie is on the down-side, no way do you deal a blue-chipper for him, IMHO. Andy Phillips, maybe, but, not a full blown prospect.

Sure would be nice to have Navarro waiting in the wings now, wouldn’t it?

Would anyone trade Eric Duncan or Sean Henn for Eddie Guardado? I’m not talking about Cabrera or Hughes. Either Duncan or Henn to get a quality lefty for the pen.

And you can’t dangle Posada because they have no other catchers. Wang, Cano and Sturtze are untouchable. I don’t think any other team has a use for Crosby or Phillips, it’s not like they’re prospects anymore. Wouldn’t mind seeing Phillips get another shot though. Stick him in LF and see how he does.

What are the Yankees most realistic moves to make before the trade deadline? Center fielder?Starter?
Reliever? Keep Crosby/Phillips/Wang/Cano/Sturze?
Dangle Posada/Womack.. Has Clemmons talked to Yanks? Is Jason Schmidt hurt? A.J. Burnett? Raid the Phillies like the 03 Cubs did the Pirates?Danys Baez?The Yanks schedule after the All-Star break is tough to say the least. Can this season be saved?
