Shawn Chacón Trade

Shawn Chacón is not the answer to what the Yankees need.

As far as what the Yankees gave up, Ramon Ramirez and Edwardo Sierra, who knows? Ramirez is a small RHP, who used to be an OF, and was signed by NY out of Japan. He’s got some stuff - but needs seasoning. Sierra came to NY from Oakland in the Chris
Hammond trade. As far as I know, he’s a non-prospect.

If they Yankees did not need a starter for Saturday, I wonder if they still make this trade?

Dammit SL, the last 4-5 posts have been a gloom and doom festival…no amount of prognistication about pitching can drown the fact that the team’s won 3 of its 4 series since the break.

Also, re: the YES network high definition ad during games: Is it me, or does Michael Kay sound like Harvey Fierstein when he says:

“WHAT A PLAY BY DEREK JETER!!!”

Kay in drag, not a pretty thought.

Sorry about the doom and gloom Jason. But, I gotta call them like I see them.

Now, if I had started a blog in 1998, well, that would have been a fun season to jot about.

At this stage in the game, it couldn’t hurt to run him out there to see what he has.

I’ll say it again…..at this point- who cares?

put everyone and the kitchen sink out there for a start….if they pitch well- great…pitch them again.

If not- go to columbus…go directly to Columbus…do not pass go, do not collect $200,000
