they are enraged. Johnson being thrown out, the offense exploding, it makes sense to me in that context.

I’m with Towers. It’s my own opinion but I think it would be ridiculous for a DH to get the MVP. Not only that but Ortiz is a ONE TOOL player. Sure he can hit but if it’s not a HR he sure as hell isn’t going to help you on the base paths. He can’t swipe a bag for you like A-Rod or go 1st to 3rd as easily. And he doesn’t play the field. And when he does, he does so poorly. I think being the DH also allows for the hitters to possibly watch tape of that game’s opposing pitcher while in the dugout.

Okay, that was just a big bunch of rambling.

I think A-Rod should get it…but man- has anyone seen Ortiz’s numbers with RISP….and his numbers with RISP with two outs? it’s crazy.

But A-Rod’s Defense (which save for Chavez could have been GG worthy), IMHO trumps Ortiz’s clutch hits
