If the Yankees chances in the ALDS hang on a Matt Lawton walk, we’re doomed.

SL, Lord knows Lawton hasn’t done much for us this year, but at least he knows how to draw a walk. Womack can run, but he can’t walk. And Embree and Wright are too prone at giving up walks.

I’d keep both Lawton and Womack around for Round 1, with the option of subtracting one of those and adding a pitcher for late rounds (presuming the Yanks make it, of course).

this is probably going against conventional thinking- but they should add as many position players as they can.

Cold Weather- older players- everyone playing hard….they need to prevent against potential injuries.

Kaat was speculating yesterday, based on Wright short-arming his delivery, that perhaps there’s a shoulder issue.

Proctor should only be used as filler in a game that’s out of hand – to save the pen for the next game. At least, that’s what I would do.

Are there rumors that Wright is battling arm trouble again? I hadn’t heard that.

There is no question that Tony Womack should be on the post-season roster. I don’t even know why they’re leaving it in limbo. It’s not like we have another choice anyway.

How pathetic is our middle relief when a scrub like Scott Proctor makes the post-season roster before formerly borderline-passable pitchers like Embree and Wright.
