The case can be made that if Perini hadn’t moved the Braves to Milwaukee, the Dodgers wouldn’t have moved to LA, and the Jints wouldn’t have moved to SF. Not that it would’ve made any difference, I’m sure the league would’ve put an expansion team there sooner or later

I’d have him on a pretty short leash. He shows any signs of imploding, like he did in the couple of starts before he went on the DL (and his last start), yank him.

Small is slated for long relief, so I’d go to him.

I’d have Mussina on the shortest leash possible. I’d also accept the possibility that no matter how he pitches, the Yanks always seem to lay an egg in Game 1′s when he’s on the mound. Hopefully we split in Los Angeles or Anaheim or wherever the Angels are from. There’s nothing worse than the thought of having to pull a 2001 — win 2 and go back to the West Coast.
