		<description>Read Jayson Stark&#039;s column on ESPN.com today. Looks like a little-known clause in the CBA allows every team except the Yankees and the Red Sox to spend as much as they want in 2006 and not be luxury-taxed. Apparently any team that was not penalized in 2005 (and only the Yankees and Red Sox exceeded the payroll limit)is free to splurge. Now, obviously most teams will adhere to their own internal budgets but Omar Minaya must feel pretty good. Unfortunately, he&#039;s having a hard time convincing anyone to wear orange and blue. It&#039;s stuff like this that makes me mourn even more the passing of Doug Pappas...boy would he have been on top of this.
