I agree with you, Steve. I had to read that quote from Orza a couple of times because it astonished me. To treat A-Rod as if he is some unreliable person who doesn’t think things through, to not show some public respect for his decision (even if he privately lobbies for him to play) is out of line, to me. And then to equate not playing to be less respectable… way over. If I’m A-Rod, I’m not budging.
