From the Journal News -
Wright credited some of his resurgence to a new grip on his slider he picked up from Mike Mussina. He now holds the ball further back in his hand across all four seams. It puts a tighter spin on the ball and keeps it in the strike zone. “I was getting a lot of swings at balls in the dirt,” he said. “That’s a good sign.”
Hey, stranger things have happened………

Leiter’s calling it quits.
Nice of the Yankees to let him go out that way, with the 1/3 today, etc. I wonder what A-Rod was writing on that ball for him?
He wrote “You’re the greatest!”

Thanks Al.
To think what he could’ve been if not for the blisters & arm problems… He did a pretty good job, considering the rough start.
As for Wright, I’m not going to hold my breath. Hope it works out for him.
Thanks for the link Jen.
