    Three catchers?

    Torre said the Yankees will open the season with 11 pitchers. He didn’t rule out Wil Nieves, who is out of options, making the roster as a third catcher. …

    Oh, that’s going to be a useful thing.

      They’re about the same offensively this spring. The only advantage I see of Nieves over Stinnett is that Nieves is younger. Stinnett has much more experience than Nieves. With both, at this stage of their careers, WYSISYG.
