One Sign That It’s Just About “Go” Time

OK, I confess. I cheered, out loud, when Tanyon Sturtze drilled Mike Lowell in the 8th inning of tonight’s Spring Training game.
And, yes, unlike the guys in the YES booth, I believe that Riske hit Jeter on purpose.

My initial reaction was that it was a little early to start nailing folks, but then I figured it is spring _training_ and they need to work on what they’re going to do in the regular season. Hopefully, if Joe is going to keep Sturtze on the roster, it’s so he doesn’t have to lose real pitchers when they want to bean somebody. And Sturtze giving away one base is preferable to him giving away his usual 3 or 4.
So, has Stinnett sealed his fate by breaking Posada’s nose?
