		<description>Duncan&#039;s on the DL, but he was barely above the Mendoza line any way.  You may be right Steve.  Put Duncan in AA where he can have success and thus be a useful chip.

		<description>Is this flurry of minor league signings a search for major league replacements or some arcane strategy to get trading chips to acquire someone? Is there a trading partner out there that would consider, say, 1 decent prospect (Duncan? White? Beam?)along with a bouquet of Pena, Durazo, Hidalgo, Long, and Green? Not likely. But Jim Bowden is still the GM of the Nationals.
