		<description>I&#039;m not defending their behavior, but I would like to point out that the people who Teixeira refers to aren&#039;t involved with the Red Sox (or even MLB) anymore.  Different ownership group, different GM, different scouts, and different philsophy.

Not based on any evidence, but it wouldn&#039;t surprise me if behavoir like that is not uncommon either.  Unfortunately...
