It’s like Where’s Waldo (or Where’s Steve). Those are some primo seats, my man. All I can afford are upper reserve in RF and even those cost more than they’re worth (view-wise). No regrets though, I get 10 games a year (share with a buddy).

Hey Steve, next time you go to a game you can call me on my cell so we can be those annoying fans that stands up and waves to their friend on the other side of the Stadium.

Oh, and I have an extra ticket to Monday night’s game against Seattle is anyone is interested. My email is on my web site.

I was curious what you looked like, Steve. Next time I’m at the Stadium I’ll know what to look for… a big blur.

When I’m at the Stadium, I sort of sit below you, down in the Main Box MVP. I’m sure, sometime, at some game, your hot dog wrapper or some other junk floated right over my head. Oh, the connectedness of it all.

Hey, you guys are not paying attention! LOL. There have been many pictures of me posted here since I started blogging.

MJ – they are great seats. I got lucky. I decided to get the 81-game package at the start of the 2001 season. (I split it 9 ways with 8 other people.)

There’s no way that I get those seats now if I’m looking to get a season plan.

FWIW, I can’t afford it either – that’s why I usually end up selling 4 or 5 games (out of my 9) a year now. (Whereas, in 2001, I went to all of my 9 plus several other games.)

With the new Stadium coming, I’m locked in now. There’s no way to give up the seats. The location is too good. (I just hope the Yankees grandfather locations, etc., when they make the switch.)

BTW, guys, the last 2 times at the Stadium, I was wearing a “WasWatching.com” shirt. How could you miss me?

That’s great that you got those seats. Hopefully they do grandfather your location into the new ballpark. I can only imagine what prices will be at the new place. I certainly don’t begrudge them from making as much as they can since the demand is so high but I’m sort of bummed that when I was in high school in the Bronx from 90-93, my buddies and I could ditch class early, walk up and grab field boxes for $20.

Obviously I’d rather have a championship team that I watch from home than a piece of crap team I watch in a half-empty stadium so I’m not really complaining. I guess I’m just a bit jealous that I can’t have it both ways.

Onto more pleasant subjects…Wanger going to dominate for us tonight? Hopefully we’re better against Washburn than we’ve been in the past. He’s 3-2 against us in his career with a 2.72 ERA/1.12 WHIP in 43 IP (6 starts).
