Pavano has a rehab start on Thursday. I’m sure Joel will rush up to Pavano to apologize.

First off, Joel is a little weasel.

But anyway…

Sherman is just pointing out that it takes time to come back from having bone chips removed. Most people talked about it like Pavano could be back in a week. But Maroth was out over two months, too.

Also, Pavano is going to throw one more batting practice and then go out on a rehab assignment, which means he’s only a few weeks behind Maroth’s schedule.

Sherman, as always, was trying to prove Pavano was a pussy, but he’s just showing that he’s actually on a normal schedule for coming back from removing bone chips.
