Was glad to see PJ was invited to camp with the big club. This will be a great experience for him to work and learn from the big leaguers. Best of luck goes out to PJ!!!!!!

I also hope P.J makes it to Trenton in 2007. I live in Staten Island and got to know him some during his 2004 and 2005 seasons. Let me tell you P.J is a born leader! He was basically like a coach on the field and clubhouse. All the players looked up to him and he was a key component to S.I's 2005 Championship. I think he was well coached at Cal. St. because all the Cal. St. kids play with emotion. PJ had a good 2005 at Staten Island and he broke through at Tampa in 2006. I hope he continues to rise to AA this season. Above his baseball talents PJ is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. I wish PJ the best!!!!!

Piliterre is awesome defensively, and his biggest calling card is his ability to work with pitchers. I did a bunch of research back in the day for a post at Baby Bombers, and at the time Tampa starters allowed something like 3 R/game when PJ started and 5 R/G when he didn't.
