One In A 56 Million?

Sweeny Blog notes how long it’s been since Carl Pavano has taken toe to rubber in a real game for the Yankees. (Hat tip to Pete Abe.)

Taking it a step further, if you consider the game time for LVP’s last start, and the expected time of the first pitch of the Yankees home opener on Monday, it’s been at least 55,609,200 seconds since Pavano’s last “official” pitch.

The guys in the YES booth should refer to this fact.

“Yes, that’s Carl Pavano on the mound for the Yankees. If you want to know how long it’s been since Pavano last pitched in a regular season game for New York, you should count to fifty six million. When you’re done counting, around 16,000 hours from now, you’ll have an idea of how long it has been.”
