    Party Town

Eve Salvail’s birthday party. The Plumm, 246 W. 14th St., nr. Seventh Ave., 10 p.m. Model Eve Salvail will be fêted tonight by Damon Dash, Patrick McMullan, and the ladies of Scores West, among others. Those “others,” per the invite, possibly include members of the Yankees. Oh, and it’s a karaoke party. And where there are Yankees, Scores girls, and karaoke, there’s also us trying to sneak in. We’ll let you know tomorrow how it works out.

Yankees? Probably is Sean Henn and Wil Nieves, right?

Actually, this report is from April 5th. Could it be that some Yankees were looking foward to this party yesterday and that’s why they didn’t seem very into the game last night?

Something tells me that Tim Stoddard and Dave Eiland weren’t afforded this level of “access.”

Let me answer a question with a question, do you really think that? No really, do you really think that a party after a game would be on their mind when they between the white lines? Tell me you don’t really think that.

I’m trying to think of one time in my life where I had an important event to go to after work and it caused me to suck so bad that day at work where I committed key errors, and I could barely do anything right. Nope…can’t think of any day when that has happened.

That’s gotta be it, Steve. Derek Jeter was looking forward to finally be in a situation where he could meet some ladies.

The fact that it was soul-crushingly cold outside last night and snowing probably had nothing to do with it either.

Didn’t see to bother the D-Rays, FWIW.

Well, one, the Devil Rays were bundled up appropriately. I didn’t see any Yankees wearing the hoods to stay warm. And maybe the bullpen would have pitched better if any of the guys had on long sleeves. None of them did.

And two, it bothered the Devil Rays as well. Josh Paul had his fair share of troubles, and the Devil Rays’ fielding was pretty abysmal too. That’s what you see at the game instead of the in box score. Bad throws that went for IF base hits and fielder’s choices were aplenty for both teams last night.

I’m sure the Yankees who NEVER party were thrown off because they wanted to go out after the game. That’s a laughable premise. Come on.
