It just gets more interesting everyday. Let’s hope the weather holds during the Indians series.

People on other boards are going nuts with ideas like this team is terrible and Mo is old and Jeter should DH, but that’s nonsense. Where were the Yanks this time last April?

If Mo makes that pitch, we’ve got a 4-2 road trip and had a great week. He doesn’t so we’re 3-3 and it’s time to panic. I don’t get it. It can’t be like this for Mets fans, can it?

The Yankees would probably rather use Clippard or Ohlendorf, but Wright in on the 40-man.

Chase is a good pitcher. I wouldn’t worry about his control — he only has one walk in fourteen innings in Trenton. And he looked great against a Tigers team about to break camp.

Wright had a slow start to his career. I think the Yankees expect him to move quickly — I’m sure they envisioned him in AAA at some point this year. Wright is a lefty with decent velocity who pounds the zone, so I expect he’ll do okay. As long as Torre doesn’t panic every time he puts a man on, I think Wright will surprise a few folks.
