His control today was odd, he makes pin point pitches most of the time then loses the grip on the ball or something and make ridiculasly bad balls. (had one that sailed way over Jorge . no one was on base at the time though)

Still, the Ks were wicked and it was hardly those lucky corner strike 3 type, most were swing and miss and he blew away JD Drew twice, the second time on 3 pitches.

You know, this season is shaping out to make a great "Yankeeogrophy"

"Things were at their darkest on April 28th when Karstens was taken out on the first pitch. But the sun would come out on a much maligned Kei Igawa..."

I can hear Sterling now...

Just feels good to get a win. No time to really think about all the holes, I'm just glad I get to wake up again from a night of sleep where the Yankees have won the night before.

Baseball's a funny game. Some days the sun will shine on a dog's ass and, for one day, the sun was shining right on Kei Igawa. I'm happy for him because it should hopefully give him the confidence to piece together another 1-2 decent starts until Moose gets back. Plus, it's nice to get Mo his first save. Not that I was terribly worried but at least we got it out of the way. Lets hope Wang is on his game tomorrow and we salvage a brutal Friday night with a good rest of the weekend.
