Farnsworth told a Chicago radio show that he wasn’t too fond of Clemens’s “family plan.” He basically said if you’re going to be on a team, you should be with the team.

When asked about it, Torre got kind of snippy. he said he wasn’t going to worry about it until there was something to worry about.

Did they arrive at the same time, I remember Sierra was giving an interview (MSG?), and the interviwer abruptly cut it as Cone entered the room, or walkway, or whatever. Thought it was pretty funny.

Or since it was 12 years ago, my mind could be playing tricks on me… Anyone remember that?

Steve–I heard somewhere that Farnsworth spoke out against Clemens’ travel plan with the Yanks. Does anyone know more about this?

I sure don’t want to see Torre gone. I hope this isn’t his last year. He can manage the Yanks for as long as he wants, as far as I’m concerned.
