Cashman Makes Like The Three Little Monkeys

Via the AP, Brian Cashman on Carl Pavano, now that Pavano’s Yankees career is done:
“I never once thought that he laid down on this club,” Cashman said.
Here’s a time elapsed multiple exposure photo of Cashman making this statement:

You can’t expect Cash to throw him under the bus, even though he really deserves it. As a GM, he has to deal with current and future players signings. You don’t want a reputation of bad mouthing players to the media, even when they are as worthless as Carl.
There’s another option besides saying something good or bad – say nothing.
Agreed Steve.
Another point is Cashman’s penchant for injury prone pitchers. Pavano is just one. Sanchez, Melancon, others. What exactly is the expectancy for excelling in MLB after TJ surgery? Any numbers on this?
Many come back fine. I doubt Pavano will – since it will be like a three year layoff for him.
