		<description>Cashman&#039;s plan may still work. The problem for George, is that his plan wasn&#039;t focused on this year. It was focused on rebuilding the pitching staff, and making the team younger. Building for a champion two or three years down the road, while keeping enough pieces here to challenge now.

I don&#039;t think he&#039;s going to be around long enough to see it happen though, and I&#039;m afraid that whoever comes in to replace him is going to mortgage the future for a ring either this year or next year, and it&#039;s not going to work.

		<description>Gotta be honest, it&#039;s not my thing at all.  I prefer Steinbrenner when he&#039;s hundreds of miles away in Florida with his big yap shut.

I&#039;m not saying what Steinbrenner expressed isn&#039;t a fair sentiment but I&#039;ve always felt better when he was as far away as possible.
