<description>I just figured it was a given that the yanks would eat Farns-no-worth&#039;s salary.Just dump him.
To turn that down and consider moving Proctor really makes me wonder Cashmans plan.

<description>It&#039;s like we&#039;re in bizarro world. The Yankees have a huge weakness -- their bullpen. So what do they want to do? Weaken the weakness.

They cannot trade Scott Proctor right now. Sean Henn, T.J. Beam, Eddie Ramirez, Chris Britton -- none of these guys can replace Proctor. And with Farnsworth unable to even get out of a single inning anymore, Proctor is more important than ever.

There was a rumor today that the Rockies like Farnsworth, but want the Yanks to pick up most of his salary. MAKE THAT DEAL. If the Yankees are paying his salary, then demand something in return. But dump Farnsworth any way you can, keep Proctor, and use Britton or Ramirez.

Also, please forget about this idea of using Joba as a setup man. For the love of God, that is a stupid idea. We don&#039;t need him coming up here overthrowing, blowing out his arm.

Don&#039;t judge him based on that game last night. That&#039;s not who Joba is. He&#039;s a power/control guy and it was the worst start of his entire career. He is actually as good as advertised.

I don&#039;t doubt he can handle the pressures of New York -- I just want him to handle them as a starting pitcher next year.

With how Mussina has pitched lately, we&#039;ll more than likely be seeing a rotation of Hughes, Chamberlain and Kennedy next year.

<description>If we pay Farnsworth&#039;s contract, could Wigginton for Farnsworth work? I really don&#039;t want to give up Proctor, not only because my blog is named after him, but he pitches so many innings for this team.

<description>I went to see Chamberlain and Horne pitch last night in New Britain. (Amazing how many people did not recognize Reggie ). Joba was not good.
Gave up three solo dingers in the first two innings. Hit 97 consistently but had no command.
Granted it&#039;s his first clunker but he&#039;s not ready for the pressure cooker of the Yankee pen.
I&#039;d like Wiggington but not at the expense of Proctor only because i don&#039;t think they adequately replace him.
