No, I’m Not Ignoring You
Earlier today, I lost my ability to make comments to blog entries here. When I try, I get this message:
Your comment has been received. To protect against malicious comments, I have enabled a feature that allows your comments to be held for approval the first time you post a comment. I’ll approve your comment when convenient; there is no need to re-post your comment. Return to the comment page
Obviously, I’m not a first time poster and this is an issue. I suspect that it’s a TypeKey matter – as I have the same problem from two different PCs and ISPs.
If you’ve having the same issue, please drop me a line at staff [at] waswatching [dot] com – thanks in advance. And, thanks for your patience with this issue, if you’re dealing with it too. I am looking into fixing it.

Update, 8/9/07, 10:07 pm ET: I think I figured it out. I think this thread has a bad cookie mix on it. If I post a comment on a new entry – and stick to making comments on “newer” items, I’m OK. But, if I try to comment on that entry with the (what I assume is a) cookie issue, then any attempts to post a comment, anywhere, will fail – until I start a new entry, leave a comment there, and basically clean my brush, for lack of better words, to make future comments. So, I have to “never look back” and keep moving forward. Shame, I had more comments that I wanted to address in that certain entry.
Update, 8/10/07, 8:34 am ET: So much for that theory. I’m back now where I was – still not able to post comments. Anyone else have this issue – again, please e-mail me if you do.
