Just the other day you were down on this team and now you're riding high. Talk about fair-weather blogging. ;) Joking. Seriously: It is absolutely amazing watching A-Rod this year. I have nothing really to add to that but it's been a joy. Funny thing - I was making fun of my 12 year old brother-in-law for wearing an A-Rod jersey earlier this year, the only reason being was that I was SURE A-Rod wouldn't be back next year and he wouldn't be able to wear it. Guess I was wrong. I think the Yankees would be out of their minds not to lock this guy up forever. I just hope that this streaky team doesn't pitter out at the wrong time. Ideally, they can pitter when they're locked up in the Wild Card and then get super hot again for the playoffs. I just have this weird feeling. And even though it would be fantastic to take the division from Boston, I don't mind seeing the Yanks go in as the WC. Seems that WC teams do pretty well in the playoffs.
