    Outside The Beltway takes a look at Joe Girardi’s treatment of pitchers. I suspect this will not be the first and last study of this kind that we’ll see in the next few weeks.

      The Yankee brass has probably told Girardi in no uncertain terms not to abuse those young arms. They’ll probably keep Eiland around as well.

      LOL baileywalk. And I don’t know (hence “probably”) but Cashman wasn’t shy about laying down Joba Rules on Torre, so I can imagine a new manager having to work with restrictions on the young arms.

      Not mentioned is that all 3 of Johnson, Nolasco, and Johnson had soreness during 2006 yet they continued to pitch.
