Outside The Beltway takes a look at Joe Girardi’s treatment of pitchers. I suspect this will not be the first and last study of this kind that we’ll see in the next few weeks.

LOL baileywalk. And I don’t know (hence “probably”) but Cashman wasn’t shy about laying down Joba Rules on Torre, so I can imagine a new manager having to work with restrictions on the young arms.

Not mentioned is that all 3 of Johnson, Nolasco, and Johnson had soreness during 2006 yet they continued to pitch.
