The Dan Naulty Story

In case you haven’t seen it, the Daily News has an interesting story today, composed by former Yankee Dan Naulty.
Naulty pitched in 33 games for New York in 1999 – 27 of them which were games that the Yankees lost. And, 4 of the 6 games that he appeared in, where the Yankees won, were blow-out victories.
Many Yankees fans probably don’t even remember Naulty being on the team. Still, his story is one worth reading about. I’m glad that it seems he’s on a better path now.

I do remember Naulty, but thought he was just up for a month at the most. Appearing in only 4 wins but 27 losses on such a good team as the 1999 Yankees is quite the feat.
This is a very good article. Sounds like he was a user to a ridiculous degree; muscles ripping off the bone are never a good thing.
hmm if pettite was talking to this guy and he was doing HGH maybe pettite had a connect through someone else and the rocket is clean ? nah…but interesting to think about
I remember him. Wore #31. Yankee cap sat pretty goofily on his head.
I remember him through video games, but do not recall him actually on the team. Was an interesting story and good to see that he is doing something good with his life. Also I’d like to think that Pettitte is telling the truth about his brief HGH stint.
He’s a YINO (Yankee in name only).
