      Ah, the WFL… We hardly knew ye. The NFL has withstood quite a few challenges from upstart leagues.

      As much as I was a Bobby Ray Murcer fan as a kid, Bonds was putting up a stellar season in 1975 until he hurt his knee. He still finished with a 151 OPS+.
