…ex-Texas Rangers manager Buck Showalter is being added to ESPN’s Baseball Tonight.
Not a bad spot for Buck to be in…keeps him in the public view…just sitting there waiting for an opening somewhere…
There’s no question that Buck deserves another chance to manage again. I could see it happening in the next one to two years.
I kind of have a soft spot for buck. he really was what the team needed for a while there back in the mid 90s. I think he’ll be good on the air, at least for us homers (and better than steve philips)
anyway, last i heard he was taking some sort of upstairs position with a team…i think the indians. is that done or am i misremembering and it never happened?
