It is noteworthy that GameDay, which is more accurate, had Hughes's FB at what was usually one mph faster than the gun on TV, so that's mostly 92-92.

Hughes allowed two hits to start the inning, but what was going to be a pretty good start became a bad one the moment A-Rod tossed the game away with that throw. Hawkins, amazingly, had built up some good will among fans. Well, that's gone. At least Edwar didn't suck like that bad-mechanics, 91-mph-fastball-throwing, overrated-youngest-pitcher-in-the-league-who's-not-a-damned-ace-yet, arrogant, blog-writing sucker Hughes.
