There is rich and then there is spending nearl $90,000 on a t-shirt that was buried in the ground for several months. I guess that would be crazy-rich, with an emphasis on crazy.
Gotta love the “free shipping” icon over the jersey. I know when I’m spending $83,000 on a baseball jersey, I’m worried about the shipping costs.
It’s for a good cause. I’m glad the Yanks could do some good with this, although personally I wish they’d donated the jersey to a local charity.

That’s the thing – locally it wouldn’t have sold for as much. Putting it up for bid in Boston was a genius move… those people are nuts for stuff like this.
