In response to Rich, I think it’s more of A-Rod’s range that ws a problem last night. He wasn’t moving at all. Even in offense I think A-Rod disrupts the fluidity of offense (just look back at the three recent games that A-ROd didn’t play).

I’ve mentioned to my Yankee friends here at ‘Nova the findings on Giambi and “finesse” pitchers… It all makes sense now..

Steve, who do you think would be the current Yankee who has hit “power/elite” pitchers the best (as a Yankee)? I’m a huge ARod supporter but I don’t think he’d be at the top of the list…same with Abreu..

However, guys like Manny I would put at the top of the list.

I thought Jeter’s lack of range killed them tonight, and again, the inability to score enough runs off of a mediocre starter.

Pettite looked gassed when he gave up those 2 HR’s – Cone commented that he slowed his whole body down and the batters probably knew a fat changeup was coming.
