Would it kill him to put a bunt down the 3rd base line, he has done it a few times in the past, at least he would get on base.

Plus, if he doesn’t get on base, he can’t get hurt (running, or just standing there), and then the Yanks can’t put him on the DL and let someone worth a damn take his at bats

He hasn’t got a hit against a lefty this year…

Oddly, he’s done well in 41 PA batting 7th, as opposed to 63 batting 5th or 6th. Nothing really stands out in his splits otherwise, but if he can hit in the 7 slot, perhaps it’s something in his approach that he can adjust (or they can just park him there).
