Vague threats by the fat idiot that inherited daddy’s team and daddy’s miserable personality. What does this mean? He’ll fire Joe Girardi? He’ll hire a GM like Woody Woodward? He’ll trade Hughes/Kennedy for this generation’s equivalent of Rick Rhoden?

======================================================

Exactly, and by force too! Can we all say it together? F_O_R_C_E -- FORCE. That's right boys and girls, F_O_R_C_E

Prince Hal, watch your back.

A few more weeks of this from Hankenstein and I will turn the team off. At least the father bought the team [majority]. And built it up, this guy is intolerable.

I’m pretty sure that he also meant changes in the front office and coaching staff.
===========================================
Considering the coaching staff (save Tony Pena) is all new, I don't see what blaming the coaches would accomplish.

Like I said, this is what Yankee fans are doomed to: another 30 years of an obese, pin-headed tyrant who prefers to issue threats in the media. Wonderful.

Ah...

"Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual.
I took that to mean there will be wide-spread changes next season if this level of play continues for the rest of the year.
-------------
Given the number of potential Yankee free agents, I'd say there'll be wide-spread changes regardless...

“This is going to get turned around,” Steinbrenner said. “If it’s not turned around this year, then it will be turned around next year, by force if we have too.”

Playing with emotion won't make the team's offense gain consistency and won't help the team's pitching throw more quality innings.
