How Important Is It That The Yankees Play Well Against The Mets This Weekend?

I said “important,” but only because they need to win some goddamn games, not because it’s the Mets.
They need to win every game they play. Obviously, that doesn’t mean they will, but that’s the requisite mindset.
If you are asking is it more important to play well against the Mets than other teams, then the answer is no.
ditto with what has already been said… just to win games and get the offense going; not because they are specifically playing the mets.
