It was very impressive win. I thought the Yanks were dead as a doornail down 5-2 in the 8th against Seattle’s bullpen.

Abreu had a fantastic at bat against Arthur Rhodes, and then A-Rod stayed within himself to take a great BB–he didn’t try to do too much.

Edwar pitched a critical 1 2/3 to keep it close, the crowd gave him a great ovation when he left for Mo. YES had some terrific shots of the Yankee bench cheering after each at bat.

Best win of the year so far.

Wang wasn’t on today. so Giradi’s decision to put him back out for the 7th after he gotten through a shaky but relatively effective 6IP 3 run 97 pitch outting was strange and almost costed the game.

he got us through the game we didnt have to blow the bullpen. And a win is a WIN no matter what. The plays at home we’re really unique and definetly helped us win. I was happy to see the whole team excited for a win and my hopes are up

Oh, and, what about Wang today? From what I could see from the game highlights, it didn’t look like Shelley Duncan or having the infield in helped him much in the seventh.

while it is true duncan was terrible in the field today, wang was pretty bad as well. He had nothing working for him as he missed with every pitch. He kept everything up.
