The idea that Montero cannot POSSIBLY catch because he’s too big has become a cliche.

Good timing Steve…Keith Law actually answered a question about Montero in his chat today. He said that he (Law) was more likely to catch in the majors than Montero was.

I’m not sure if that would be good. Austine Romine is supposed to be a high quality starter. If he winds up as a career back up, it means he underachieved.

How awesome would it be (besides the obvious reasons of having prospects work out) to have Montero catching and Romine backing him up at the major league level?

If they move Montero from the catching spot, he will move very fast.

He really is to big to be a catcher, I think its just a matter of time before he goes to 1st base.
