Today, the family and I did something that I have always wanted to do…we took the tour of Yankee Stadium. Man, if you’ve never done it, and you’re a Yankees fan, what are you waiting for?

I actually got to hang, stretched out, with my hands secured to the roof of the Yankees dugout – just like you see the players do sometimes before a game. Dream.come.true.

More pictures to come at a later date.

Very cool. As much as I disliked living in upstate NY, I do miss being able to hop a train to the Bronx (or Manhattan).

Damn you. I was on the tour yesterday (1pm), and they didn’t go into the dugout — there was a bunch of activity on the field so I imagine this was the reason.

They could have explained that, however.

Major bummer! Sorry to hear that Pete.

I was on the 11 am tour. Yeah, we got lucky with the weather too. Just as we were finishing in the press box, at noon, it started to sprinkle. And, about 30 minutes later, as we were getting off the GWB, it started to pour. Maybe it was because of water in the dugout that they didn’t let you guys in?

Shame. The dugout was a thrill.
