Starting with today’s game, the Yankees will play day games in 4 of their next 5 games – including three in a row before heading out west to Oakland.  For what it’s worth, to date, Yankees pitchers have a better ERA (3.67) when pitching during the day than when pitching at night (4.68).

The A.L., as a whole, so far this season, has an ERA of 4.05 in day games and an ERA of 4.17 in night games. So, for the Yankees pitchers pitchers to be be a run better during the day (compared to when they pitch at night) is interesting. Maybe they should push for more day games this season?
