I have no idea how to guage if he&#039;s right or not because the whole concept of player development is so nebulous.  It&#039;s hard to know if the player isn&#039;t as good as originally thought or if the coaching so poor that the player can&#039;t develop beyond the high school/collegiate/minor league level.  Although I suppose if an organization simply can&#039;t develop ANYONE then it&#039;s probably a lot of both.</description>
