The Crosstown 49

In their last 49 games, the Yankees have gone 25-24. And, in their last 49 games, the Mets have gone 21-28.
Anyone else wonder if things would be hotter, in terms of a media pounding, for the Yankees if the Mets were rolling this season instead of struggling the way they’ve been doing lately?
Should Cashman be sending Omar a “thank you” card right about now?

Ohhhhhhh, boy, yes. I was just thinking about this today, and it’s been discussed elsewhere. Luckily the Yankees’ .500 record looks pretty good compared to the stumbling Mets. They are occupying the attention of the fetid heap known as the New York media.

Nah, you’ll always be there to make sure everyone knows any fault of the Yankees is because of Cashman.
i don’t think so, i think last year really bailed them out…i even heard chris russo say he thought the yanks were in good shape. He really believes this because he would do anything to get on the yanks. If the yanks were 3 or 4 games under .500 right now they would be the talk. The yanks always are the talk of the town when theres somethin to talk about. This team is dull right now, nothin good nor terible is happening they just keep walking in place

Basura – is not the G.M. the main man in charge of the team? Should the buck not stop there?
Yep, Cashman is the man in charge and should get credit or stones tossed at him when the season plays out. It also depends on what the internal objectives for the Yankees are
But that’s not what the post was about nor what I was replying to you about. Your post was just, in my opinion, another of the comical ways for you to complain about Cashman.
Just as your post was another of the comical ways for you to complain about me referencing Cashman, no?
