Seriously – why would anyone think that someone who throws a completely straight fastball at 89-91 can excel in pressure situations? He couldn’t keep the pitcher from fouling off his fastball! I know he’s supposed to have a great curve – not that he showed it in that frame – but he better have a great curve to keep people off of that fastball. And there’s no way that fastball doesn’t get hammered in this league.
