I bolted to the back, as I really needed to get something to eat. Hung out back there with Alex Belth a bit, a real cool guy.

I didn’t see Sterger there, and even if I did, I probably wouldn’t have given her a second look. I see a lot of attractive women in NYC, so she wouldn’t have stood out.

FWIW, I didn’t see Sterger there. So, I’m guessing she arrived after I left…not that it would have mattered…as I have no idea, whatsoever, of who she is…well, until I just looked her up now. I really don’t follow NCAA sports outside of baseball and I don’t read Maxim…so, I would have had no idea of who she is…

I would have preferred the picture of Jenn Sterger and her friend w/out any Pete Abe interference. Perhaps Steve was too focused on the games to notice.

Congrats on not mentioning Jenn Sterger. And bigger congrats on not posting a pic of yourself with her, as Pete Abraham did — wearing what appears to be a striped muumuu.

FWIW, Giambi’s triple also got a big reaction from the crowd at the bar. Probably close to that of the A-Rod HR. But, no where near what the Molina replay got.

With just a little more luck in June- or run production- Mussina could have 13 wins right now, which would put him in line for the magical number of 20. The story of his career, I guess. Last night’s offensive performance was truly pathetic.
