		<description>Here&#039;s the thing - they ran into a pitcher who has really come into his own and has put together (outside of a blip in Houston) a really good streak.  It seems to me that Girardi could have pitched a fit during the first two games of the Texas series - that&#039;s when the offensive failures were glaring.  Lester was simply dealing in a way that even a team with a hot offense would have had trouble.

And beside Andy, who in a sense was due for a stinker, the pitching was not bad outside of punching bag Hawkins, who I predict will be sent packing.

I would have liked to be a fly on the wall, because I think Girardi is the kind of guy who, when he pitches a fit, literally has steam coming out of his ears.  He looked like a potential serial killer during the post-game interview when he kept repeating that its &quot;between me and my club&quot;.  I have a feeling his approach to the &quot;kick in the butt&quot; speech is a little more fiery than Torre&#039;s, we&#039;ll have to see if it makes a difference.</description>
