    The final proof on these things was probably OK’ed a while ago…

    I dont care how good he is…Alex is not the face of the Yankees and never will be as long as Jeter is right there to his left.

    That picture is not surprising in the slightest.

    I bet money they took pictures with a couple different players — Jeter, Alex, Mo, etc. They probably just decided on which player to use just recently…

    Good point. After all, it would have been stupid to decide on a player/photo and then get burned when that player didn’t make the team, or something.
