I remember a friend of mine telling me a couple of years ago that she and her family, instead of exchanging gifts during the holidays (for example), that they decided to get together and do things as a family; making memories, I believe is what she said. That is something I have since implemented in my life as well.

Nonetheless, hearing of Mrs. Kaat’s illness, now, it makes sense as to why Jim retired (when he did) to travel about the country in an RV with his bride.
