Cool Java For A Joba Well Done
Yesterday, I shared that Joba Chamberlain would be appearing today at three different Manhattan Dunkin’ Donuts stores – serving iced coffee and doing some “Free Iced Coffee for a Year” giveaways. Well, that’s not all he was up to this morning.
Joba also stopped by FDNY Firehouse Engine 16 (at 234 E 29th St – in between 2nd and 3rd) to present FDNY Lt. Chris DiBiase with a Dunkin’ Donuts “Free Iced Coffee For a Year” award along with two tickets to see the last (as Joba reminded everyone) regular season home game at the Stadium – honoring DiBiase for his 17 years with the FDNY and for his work with the Leary Foundation. Below is a picture of Chamberlain with Lt. DiBiase (2nd left), FDNY Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta (2nd fr. right) and Chief of Department, Salvatore Cassano (right):

Thanks to Joe Gavin of RF|BINDER for sharing the photo.

Wouldn’t mind being Joba’s agent. A superstar in the making.
I guess Dunkin’ Donuts doesn’t support terrorism after all…
