Both A-Rod and Papi have said many times they are friends. Them having a meal together is about as interesting to me as to whether George King has ever had lunch with Mark Feinsand, Tyler Kepner, Ed Price or Dan Graziano. They after all are his competition.

It’s not uncommon for people who have things in common to form friendships. Sharing a meal with a friend is not news. A-Rod and Varitek having dinner together- now that would be news.

What players do between the lines and in the clubhouse should be George King’s business. Who they choose to share a meal with is none of his or our business.
