Here’s a look back at how their answers changed, month-by-month:

I’m More Excited About This Season Now Than Ever Before
June 2nd: 5%, July 4th: 5%, August 4th: 24%

Very Excited – Just As Excited As I Was On Opening Day
June 2nd: 15%, July 4th: 7%, August 4th: 36%

I’m Still Excited – But Not As Much As I Was Before
June 2nd: 45%, July 4th: 37%, August 4th: 29%

I’m Not Excited About This Season Any More
June 2nd: 28%, July 4th: 45%, August 4th: 5%

I Was Never Excited About This Season
June 2nd: 7%, July 4th: 7%, August 4th: 6%

That’s some difference between the end of June and the end of July.

“I’m Not Excited About This Season Any More” went from 45% to 5%; and,

“I’m More Excited About This Season Now Than Ever Before” plus “Very Excited – Just As Excited As I Was On Opening Day” went from 12% (combined) to 60% (combined).

It will be interesting to check this pulse again on September 4th.
